How to get Log-in details

In order to access the online booking facility on the first occasion you will need to go to the surgery to request your individual identity code and PIN number. You will need to bring a form of photographic ID (i.e. Driving Licence, Passport, Bus Pass).

You will then need to register the details on line using the link below, and then follow the prompts to create your individual account. For all access after you initial registration you will just need your identity code, the surgery identity code and your chosen password.

The online booking facility allows you to directly access all our available appointments. We do ask that if you are unable to attend an appointment you have made that you either cancel it using the online facility or by ringing the surgery direct.

You can also request repeat prescriptions and change contact details.

The online service is provided by SystmOne - the company that supplies our computer software. The system is secure and medical information cannot be viewed by anyone other than the password holder.

We continually monitor use of our online booking facility, and any misuse of it will result in individuals being refused access to the system.

There may be times when the online facility cannot be accessed, this tends to be during times of computer backup and other housekeeping - usually 11pm—4am.

Validating your online account

You will need to register these details you received from the practice on line, by following the prompts to create your individual account. Please wait until the morning after you have received your password to allow SystmOne to be updated.

Follow the prompts from our Home Page to SystmOne. There are two registration screens. The information you enter on the first screen enables the system to check your identity when you log on. On the second screen you enter a password and security details that no-one else will know.

The information you need to complete the registration screens is shown on the letter you request from the surgery. Look after this letter carefully until you register, and destroy it afterwards. If this letter is lost or stolen before you have entered your password and security details, contact the practice straight away, by telephone or in person. Remember to enter the information exactly as it appears on this letter, or your registration will not be accepted. When you log on after registering you must also enter all details in exactly the same format.

A common mistake made by patients registering their details is to add information in a slightly different format from that on their registration letter. Particular care should be taken to make sure first names or initials of middle names are added exactly as printed on your registration letter.
For all access after you initial registration you will just need your identity code, the surgery identity code and your chosen password.

Booking online appointments

This system is only for use by patients who are already registered at our practice, and is only suitable for making standard 10 minute appointments with a Doctor or booking for chronic disease clinics with the nurses (see list). It cannot at the moment book routine nurse appointments, joint appointments with doctor and nurse, extra long appointments, and so on. If you need an appointment of this sort then you should telephone the practice in the usual way.

You can make only one appointment at a time, and only for yourself as you will require an identity code and PIN number to access the available appointments schedule. For family visits it may be best to make a telephone booking with the receptionist on 01455 553531.

Requesting repeat prescriptions

Once you have logged in then follow the ‘Request a repeat prescription’ link, if you select this link it will take you to a screen displaying all your authorised repeat prescription items. On this page you simply need to select the items you require then click the ‘Make Request’ button, if you are happy you have selected the correct item click confirm and your prescription request will be made.

Each time you log in using your personal access details the screen will then show you the status of your current prescription request.
